The Office of the Deputy President is an office established under the Constitution of Kenya, 2010. Under Article 147, the Deputy President is the principal assistant to the President and deputises for the President in the execution of the President's functions. The Office derives its mandate from the Constitution, Executive Orders and other applicable laws.
