Deputy President William Ruto has asked Governors to concentrate on development in their counties instead of wasting valuable time politicking.
“Governors have Shs. 210 billion while Members of Parliament have Shs. 25 billion under the Constituency Development Fund which they must put to good use.”
Mr. Ruto said, “Kenya cannot afford to be a country of elections and referenda.” “We went for elections in 2002, held a referendum in 2005, went for another referendum in 2010 and a General Election in 2013.” “This is too much time spend on politics.”
