Patita Tingoi, Secretary- Intergovernmental Relations

Patita Tingoi is the Secretary- Intergovernmental Relations in the office of the Deputy President.

Before joining the Government, she worked with Fahamu, a non-governmental organization working on social justice issues across Africa. Prior to that she worked with the Centre for Minority Rights Development (CEMIRIDE), World Learning and the League for Pastoralist Women of Kenya.

Between 2005- 2009, she was the coordinator of the Pastoralist Parliamentary Group.

Ms Tingoi was part of the team tasked with conducting research on the status of the Poverty Reduction Strategy and contributed to the development of the report.

She was a board trustee of the Kenya Land Alliance.

Ms Tingoi has a Masters Degree in Public Policy and Advocacy from the SIT Graduate Institute, USA and a Degree in Sociology from the University of Nairobi.
