Deputy President William Ruto has asked Kenyans to help security agencies fight crime. He said although the responsibility of providing security belonged to the Government, Kenyans also had a duty to provide information.
He said: “We should be our brothers keepers. Know your neighbours so that we can keep this country safe.”
The Deputy President said the Government will recruit more security officers and equip them well.
Mr. Ruto who was accompanied by his wife Rachel was speaking at the Deliverance Church, Umoja in Nairobi where he joined the congregation for a Sunday service conducted by Bishop J.B. Masinde.
